Wayzata is a gorgeous, lakefront community that is located west of Minneapolis. Approximately 4,000 residents live in the area, but it often feels more populated because of tourism in and near Wayzata. The town itself spans across slightly more than three square miles. The Lakota Sioux tribe gave Wayzata its name, which means “North Shore.” With the town’s southern almost entirely comprised of Lake Minnetonka waterfront property, this is an area that has stunning natural views from many locations.
As you explore Wayzata, MN homes for sale, you will notice many larger and smaller cottage-style homes that were built around the turn of the last century.
